The Sixth Form is a very popular choice with students and over the last 2 years we have had record numbers of applicants who have selected Devizes as the place to learn successfully. With spacious study areas and a close proximity to local shops and transport links it makes the perfect place to continue your education. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (24)

ART, CRAFT & DESIGN  

Grade 6 in GCSE Art.

BIOLOGY  

A minimum of 6.6 in combined science or a Grade 6 in Biology.

BUSINESS STUDIES LEVEL 3 BTEC 

Grade 4 in English and Maths.

CHEMISTRY 

A minimum of 6.6 in combined science or a Grade 6 in Chemistry and a Grade 6 in Mathematics.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE  

Grade 6 in GCSE English.

ENGLISH LITERATURE  

Grade 6 in GCSE English Literature.

ENTERPRISE & ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEVEL 3 BTEC

Grade 4 in English and Maths. A prior knowledge or study of Business/Enterprise at level 2 is not essential, but if you have studied Business/Enterprise you should have achieved at Level 2.

FRENCH  

Grade 6 in GCSE French

FURTHER MATHEMATICS  

Grade 7 or above at GCSE.

GEOGRAPHY  

Grade 6 in GCSE Geography.

HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE LEVEL 3 CAMBRIDGE TECH  

Grade 4 in English and Maths. Level 2 Pass in Health & Social Care if studied. Minimum of a 4.4 in Combined Science.

HISTORY  

Grade 6 in GCSE History and a Grade 5 in English.

IT LEVEL 3 BTEC

BTEC  Grade 4 in English & Maths. A prior knowledge or study of IT at Level 2 is not essential, but if you have studied IT you should have achieved a Level 2.

MATHEMATICS   

Grade 6 at GCSE Mathematics

MEDIA STUDIES  

Grade 6 in English Language or English Literature.

PERFORMING ARTS LEVEL 3 CAMBRIDGE TECH  Level 2 Pass in Performing Arts.

Level 2 Pass in Performing Arts.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION 

Grade 6 in GCSE PE. Students must be regularly participating in at least one sporting activity.

PHYSICS  

A minimum of 6.6 in combined science or a Grade 6 in Physics and a Grade 6 in Mathematics.

PSYCHOLOGY  

Grade 6 in English and a minimum of 5.5 in Combined Science.

RELIGIOUS STUDIES  

Grade 6 in GCSE Religious Studies, full or short course.

SOCIOLOGY  

Grade 6 in English.

SPANISH  

Grade 6 in GCSE Spanish.
