Monday 2nd March is National Allocation Day for students entering secondary school in September.
On this long-anticipated day, secondary school place offers will be sent to the parents of year 6 students. It’s a very exciting day, and we hope that everyone gets the offers they are hoping for.
It’s an exciting day for us, too, and we’re looking forward to warmly welcoming enthusiastic young students into our school family. To help us prepare, we encourage parents and carers receiving offers to accept them as soon as they are able. The deadline to accept offers is 16th March, and the full details of how to accept your offer will be included in your offer confirmation.
Everything we do at Devizes School is informed by our values of courage, pride, and resilience. We have the courage to always do the right thing; we are proud of ourselves, each other, and our school; and we have the resilience to never give up and always bounce back.
By embodying these values, our new students will position themselves to be extremely successful during their time at Devizes School.
The step up to secondary school is an important milestone for every student. As they become a part of our school community, we promise to give every child the support they need to make a success out of this transition.
If you’ve been offered a place at Devizes School, don’t forget to accept it before the deadline. We can’t wait to meet you in September!
