As we inch ever closer toward the summer, exam season is upon us. Our year 11s have been hard at work preparing for their GCSE exams, which are the culmination of five years of learning and teaching.
The exam season is a long one, starting in early May and running until the latter stages of June. Although this may seem like an extensive, stressful period, spreading the exams over the course of six weeks gives you the opportunity to focus your revision on each subject, rather than studying them all simultaneously.
Below, you will find the link to a copy of the full examination timetable. We recommend printing your own copy of the timetable and highlighting the exams you are sitting. This will not only help you remember when your exams are scheduled for, but also allow you to correctly apportion your revision efforts.
Sitting exams is stressful, and we understand that there is a lot of pressure on students for a concerted period of time. We want to assure you that our staff are always here for you, and if you have any specific concerns or just want to talk to a teacher, we will be happy to help.
Everyone at Devizes School would like to wish our year 11 students the best of luck in their forthcoming exams. Hard work is always rewarded, and we know just how much effort each of you has put into preparing for these exams, so we are sure you will achieve the results you want.
