Expected Student Standards

It's very important that you take responsibility for your own learning and progress. To do this you need to ensure that you:

  • are punctual for school and lessons
  • bring appropriate equipment and resources for all lessons
  • meet deadlines for work seeking help from teaching staff rather than avoiding an issue
  • act on feedback/assessment given to improve work in order to meet academic targets
  • use home learning effectively to support improvement in the quality of your work
  • take responsibility for your learning and progress, including persevering to complete challenging activities
  • respect your teachers' right to teach
  • catch up on missed work following absence
  • ensure your behaviour and attitude supports your learning and the learning of others
  • concentrate in class and staying on-task at all times
