Our school is able to support children to take part in activities and clubs, (both on and off school site), and also help towards the costs of music lessons.

Your child will be able to take advantage of the scheme if you receive any of the following:

• Free School Meals.
• Job Seekers Allowance (Income based).
• Employment and Support Allowance (Income based).
• Income Support.
• Working Tax Credit – single income less than £12,971, joint less than £17,729.
• Disability Element of Working Tax Credit.
• Pension Credit
• Housing Benefit and Local Housing Allowance.
• Council Tax Benefit.
• Refugee / Asylum Seeker Benefit.
• Children and young people in care.

Some examples of activities are:- Leisure Card Membership, Air Cadets, Sports Clubs, Guides/Scouts, Youth Club, Theatre Clubs, Horse Riding etc.
If your child is currently receiving funding, please be advised that funding will not automatically continue in September and would ask you to provide evidence as detailed above.

During this academic year 75% of eligible students took advantage of the opportunities available through the Free Time programme. Feedback from parents and families who have engaged in the programme to date has been very positive. Early indications from teachers identify improved learning outcomes within the classroom.

If you are in receipt of any of the above, unsure if your child will qualify or require some more information, please come and talk to the office as soon as possible to ensure your child doesn’t miss out.
