Introduction to the Careers Department

The Careers Co-ordinators, who are also qualified as Careers Advisers, manage and co-ordinate arrangements for effective careers education, information and guidance for all students.  This is achieved by

  • Careers interviews with a Careers Co-ordinator from Year 9 upwards
  • An up-to-date Careers Resource Centre  which all students are encouraged to use
  • Careers resources and links to relevant websites on the school VLE
  • Drop-in sessions for quick queries and help with research at break and lunch-times
  • Careers Co-ordinators available at Parents' Evenings for Years 9, 10 and 11
